well, today I after a while struggling to understand why I cannot put one lousy image in the sidebar of wordpress I found a pseudo-bug in their amazing wonderful platform.
the details are: suppose you put the html code in the text-widget like this <img src="http://www.some.serv.er/blabla.jpg"/>
IT WONT F^&*^%ING WORK!
because some tired parser in wordpress totally eliminates the src attribute. So the solution is to put a space before the "/".
and before you go on believing that wordpress is right cause the space belongs there - yes it belongs but it's not necessary!
anyway, here some piece of advice for wordpress: in the future, parse user code smarter!
